The Viks GT Lamborghini bike, a new product from Velonie, is an extremely beautiful and high-quality combination of the Italian Lamborghini car and an ordinary city bike. The frame of the bicycle is entirely made of aluminum alloy, which in practice means that the Viks GT is as much as 40 % lighter than the average city bicycle. The Viks Gt Lamborghini wheel takes its design inspiration from the Italian supercar Lamborghini, while at the same time maintaining a highly pragmatic design and providing a safe and reinforced frame.

Gravity bikes have been on the scene for over 30 years, but they have yet to move from garage production to mass production. Although they are only working downwards in terms of function, their number is diligently "biting the knees", so it is only a question of time when production will move to the assembly line. Unofficial races are lined up around the world one after the other, which Tange saw as an opportunity that gave birth to the Yasujiro bike.
German Kraftwerk are electronic music pioneers who have been creating since the 1970s. The seal they left or they still leave it, it is practically immeasurable. Like all musicians, Kraftwerk sometimes decide to collaborate. But this time it's not a musical connection, but a sports one. Bicycle manufacturer Canyon announced that they designed and produced a limited series of racing bicycles together with a musical group, which also took part in the Tour de France. The model was named the Ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk.
Kolopark, an asphalt "pumptrack", was recently opened in Šiška in Ljubljana near Tivoli, next to the bar Lepa žorba, which was immediately flooded by bikes of all sizes. Replacing the wild parking lot with a free-to-use dirt track has proven to be a complete hit, as cycling enthusiasts of all ages now flock there every day instead of steel horses, and it has quickly become a popular outpost for families.
The Kosynier is a handmade retro e-bike, and no one will blame you if you mistake it for a motorcycle from another era. A unique bike is custom-made for you, and in addition to the retro version, you can also think of a travel, sports or one without a motor.
There are already quite a number of electric bikes on the market, but we still managed to find one that stands out from the crowd. It has an interesting compact style and allows charging the battery with the help of solar energy.
The cycling culture association Muslauf released a sexy wall calendar last month featuring attractive girls on sports bikes. The idea that came to the member of the association, Andraž Tarman, has been circulating around the association for a long time, and in November 2013, the boys and girls finally decided to record the calendar, put it together and launch it on the market.
The Lesenjača is a wooden bicycle of Slovenian origin, behind which the up-and-coming Mika Kovač and his parents stand, and it was created in the family carpentry studio 4MK. The Lumberjack's journey to Kickstarter is an interesting one, as it all started in the 2nd year of high school, when Mike and the rest of the class were given an assignment to make something out of wood. Since Mike is a cyclist at heart, a wooden bicycle was the first thing that came to his mind, and his home workshop also came up with the idea. The result is worth not only a high five, but also financial support, don't you agree?
With its innovative design, the Aero wooden wheel aims to discover new possibilities of composite wood, i.e. specially treated wood (a process of chemical modification of wood by introducing smaller molecules into the cell walls). It was created according to the idea of architects Atanas Zhelev, Mariya Korolova and Martina Hutzal, and saw the light of day at Milan Design Week 2015.
Although it hasn't really smelled like spring yet, the chirping of birds here and there is already waking up the scraps for the time when the bikes will be relevant again. If you are up for something new and crazy, a custom wooden bike will be the right choice.
We have been running the wheel in a circle for the last 150 years, and the LFN-wheel (abbreviation stands for Looking For Name, which means that the name is still being sought) wants to turn the wheels of history in a different direction, because we do not run this wheel in the classic way, i.e. with a circular movement, but by pressing down. The drive is reminiscent of a stepper, an exercise device and an imitation of walking up stairs.
Ljubljana boasts the honorary title of Green Capital of Europe 2016. It received it because, according to the European Commission, we made the most changes in the right direction in the shortest period of time. Between April 14 and June 30, we will add one more to the series of quality "green" changes. The European cycling festival 2016 will take place in the metropolis.
