Close your eyes and imagine BMW reviving its heritage with something completely unique yet so homely. Open them up now and let us introduce you to what's new from the Bavarian house, which we consider one of the most iconic automotive brands of all time. We are proud to present - Clown Shoe - BMW Concept Touring Coupe.

On the shores of the picturesque Italian Lake Como, where the recognized takes place Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, BMW unveiled its latest concept car – Clown Shoe. Known for creating stunning concept vehicles like the two models GINA Light Visionary and Gran Lusso Coupe, brought something special to the Bavarian House this time. If the name of the 2012 Z4 Zagato Concept sounds familiar, you're going to love this news. BMW is reviving the legendary Z4, this time with a solid metal roof.

They took the honor and responsibility of reinterpreting the Z4 in the design of this unique vehicle that combines old and new, familiar and fresh. This car could be described as the reincarnation of the famous BMW Z3 E36/8, affectionately known as the "Clown Shoe" or "Big Shoe". The engine with six cylinders in a row gives Power to the Concept Touring Coupe, reminiscent of its eccentric predecessor, Z3 M Coupe from the year 2023.

This renewed concept is at the core Z4 M40i, which has lost its power-folding soft top to make way for a hard top with a distinctive Hofmeister's coat of arms. The prominent rear fenders are adorned with the signature Sparkling Lario metallic paint that features blue glass shards, while the wheels boast a 20-spoke design that evokes a charmingly beautiful Z8. The special features of the car are bronze-silver accessories and a slightly modified kidney grille with double vertical bars.

Interior is slightly different from production versions of the Z4, as the cabin is refined with a selected leather covering contributed by the renowned Italian workshop Poltrona Frau. This two-tone leather trim, dark brown on the upper part and light saddle brown on the lower part, gives the cabin a touch of elegance, while at the same time reminiscent of the original "baseball" upholstery Audi TT.

Although it will be a disappointment to those who were hoping for the concept's mighty return to production, BMW Concept Touring Coupe it remains only a concept vehicle. But we must not forget that BMW he was no stranger to bodywork projects in the past. This is how it was presented last year limited series 3.0 CSL, which was essentially disguised M4 CSL with manual transmission and additional horsepower.

While us BMW Concept Touring Coupe impresses with a design that pays nostalgic homage to the history of automotive design, we can only wonder if this will be a vehicle that might ever roll off the assembly line. However, as the old saying goes, "hope dies last". Even if this concept doesn't make it to production, we're glad it does BMW still manages to keep the spirit of its rich history alive in its cars.
