This year's Geneva Motor Show brought some innovations and refreshments to the Italian brand Alfa Romeo as well. The most interest was in the Alfa Romeo Mito GTA-Concept (pictured), which, according to factory representatives, is a kind of herald of the new generation of sports cars. It has its roots in models 8C Competizione and Spider. Alfa's new concept brings the same concentration of emotions as the prestigious Italian GT - Grand Turismo cars, but at the same time it takes into account the current modern rules of reduction, downsizing in English, which are manifested through lower exhaust emissions and lower operating costs. Under the engine hood of the newcomer hides a small - it has only 1.75 liters of working volume - but powerful gasoline engine, which thanks to the turbocharger develops 176.5 kW of power, or 240 "horses" according to the old one. In addition to the aforementioned concept, the Alfa Romeo Brera TI was also on display in Geneva, which features a 1.75-liter turbo gasoline engine with 147 kW. The engine is a novelty in Alfa's range, as it meets the strict ecological standard Euro 5. Although with it the Brera reaches a top speed of 235 km/h, consumption is low, around 8.1 l/100 km.
