The idea for the 'invisible' yacht originated in the mind of Pieter van Geest, who envisioned a yacht that blends into the ocean and the horizon. The illusion will be recreated using special mirror glass, which will show the reflection of the sea surface to the surrounding observers.
106 meters long superyacht Fincantieri Mirage 106 M will be covered with mirrored glass. The Mirage yacht was developed in collaboration between an Italian shipyard Fincantieri and Dutch companies Van Geest Design.
