The action is set during the Cold War. A British agent discovers that a Soviet spy may be hiding in their ranks. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)


In the film, we follow the somewhat unusual bond between Joel and Clementine. After the breakup, Clementine wants to erase all memories of their relationship, and Joel wants to do the same. But he soon realizes that he would like to keep some memories. Thus begins an unusual journey through his brain, where the line between memories and imagination quickly blurs.

Predestination (2014)


The last mission of the agent, played by Ethan Hawke, is to catch the criminal who has chased him throughout his career. For the agent, the hunt turns into a surprising and mind-boggling exploration of love, destiny and identity.

Enemy (2013)

The Tree of Life (2011)


In the Palme d'Or award-winning film, we follow 11-year-old Jack, who has his own idea of the world, and whose parents each try to teach him their own values. His mother swears by love and mercy, and his father swears by always putting ourselves first. Jack is thus caught in conflicting views on life and tries to mediate between his parents.

Take Shelter (2011)


Happily married, Curtis is plagued by worries about his deaf daughter and ominous dreams of the apocalypse. Because of the latter, he starts building a shelter in the garden. Despite all this, Curtis remains without a job, and his wife no longer understands either. Fearing that he has inherited his mother's schizophrenia, Curtis tries to separate truth from illusion. But the dreams are increasingly violent and he fears that he will lose his family forever.

Being John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich, 1999)


The marriage between Craig, a street puppeteer, and Lotte, who works in a small animal store, is passionless and hopeless, and at the same time they are short on money. Craig gets a job as an archivist in a small company, where he is attracted to the beautiful Maxine, but she immediately rejects him. When Craig drops one file straight into the closet while filing, he finds a mysterious passageway that leads straight into the mind of actor John Malkovich. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)


The enigmatic film adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke's short story tackles topics such as human evolution, technology, artificial intelligence and extraterrestrial life. When dr. Dave Bowman and the other astronauts are sent on a mysterious mission when their computer system HAL begins to have a strange conscience, leading to a tense showdown between man and machine, resulting in a complex journey through space and time.

The Shining (1980)


Jack and the family head to the isolated Overlook Hotel, where Jack is supposed to work as the hotel's winter caretaker while having time to write a book. Together with his wife Wendy and son Danny, they are the only residents of this magnificent hotel, where supernatural phenomena soon begin to appear.

Ex Machina (2014)


Winning a computer competition brings the talented Caleb a meeting with the inventor Nathan. In a mysterious laboratory in the middle of the wilderness, Nathan managed to create the first robot with UI, Ava. Caleb now has to test her abilities, and he even bonds with her during conversations. Nathan continues with his secret plans, and Caleb soon doesn't know who he can trust anymore.

Under the Skin (2013)


The alien takes the form of a seductive woman who stalks lonely men on the streets of Scotland and lures them into a trap.

Robert, a plastic surgeon, has been working on growing artificial skin ever since his wife's fatal car accident.
