Goodyear has prepared a very special reCharge tire that will renew itself and adapt to the driver's driving style. The technology is based on spider silk, and the innovative tires will be particularly suitable for electric cars.
Goodyear is a giant in the industry automotive tires, but lately they have been surprising us again and again with technologically advanced tire concepts. The latest groundwork, Goodyear reCharge, differs from the other concepts and is in all likelihood the most innovative. The reCharge concept hides technology that will help organic materials enabled restoration and adaptation tires. All that will need to be done is to insert ′capsule′ in the middle of the tire and we will already have a renewed or adapted tire. Reinforced fibers, which renew the tire, are based on one of the of the most durable materials in the world, on spider silk.
In theory, this could mean that we will have the same tire for as long as we own the car. Advanced technology with artificially intelligence will even recognize it way driving individual drivers and, based on the collected data, recommended which capsule to insert into the tire. It will be possible to choose between capsules that are intended for a specific one annual time, location (city, mountains, certain capitals) or to each to an individual, according to their driving style.
