Hennessey Venom F5 - goes 500 kilometers per hour

Venom F5

Finally, the Hennessey boutique carmaker has unveiled its latest creation. The Venom F5 has been officially unveiled after more than three years since its original launch (and six years since its announcement). With it, Hennessey offers a hypercar that will make an impression and go down in history.

Of course, the biggest attention is its top promised speed – 500 kilometers per hour, which cannot yet be verified by actual tests. The latter is largely thanks to the insane 6.6-liter unit and cylinder arrangement of the V8, which breathes with a twin turbocharger. This data creates 1.817 horsepower (1,354 kilowatts) and 1,617 newton meters of torque.

But the engine, which was based on GM's otherwise classic LS V8 powerplant and heavily modified, isn't the only thing special about the Venom F5. With a price in the amount 2.1 million dollars maybe it's best to watch this video that will tell you the story of this custom built hyper super car.

The nose of the car is entirely made of carbon fiber. And from a single piece of carbon fiber. And yes, the new Hennessey badge on the front is awesome too, made from thin aluminum and then embedded under a clear coat of paint.

Due to the use of carbon fiber, the Hennessey hypercar has a dry weight of only 1,398 kilograms, which means that it has an insane weight-to-weight ratio, horses ... so what 1.289 horsepower per ton.

Of course, it will only be available to selected people, collectors and somehow in limited quantities!
