How do you find the will to work when you'd rather be lying on the beach?

When the warm days come, we want to spend all our time outside. But when it's hot, we get lazy. So it's no wonder when we need extra motivation to get everything done that needs to be done.

These are some methods that can help you stay productive even when the weather is nice and sunny outside.

Prepare a work plan for the whole week in advance

It's possible that you already plan ahead, so you know how important planning is to keep your motivation on the same level. Even if these plans do not come to fruition, you will be more mentally prepared for the amount of work that awaits you. You will know when you need to do which part of the work.

This plan applies not only to your work, but also to everything else that needs to be done - from shopping, hobbies, going to the cinema. Give yourself enough time to rest, don't cram in more things than can physically be done in one day.

If you haven't planned yet, we recommend that you write down only what you did in the first week in the planner, so that you get a realistic picture on paper. Based on this, start planning ahead. Planning this way will be much more realistic and there is a greater chance that you will tick off all the tasks instead of creating an unrealistic goal with too many tasks.

Don't be too hard on yourself.

Set new goals

A very good tactic is to set new goals at each change of season. Why? Because you too change more often than you think. Every time you set new goals, you'll notice small changes in what will motivate you.

In the first part of the year, your goal may be to advance at work to get a raise, then you may focus on physical and mental health, and then you may find a new direction that will align with your goals. The focus is constantly changing. Find what motivates you right now and what you think is your priority in life right now.

Breaks and free time planning

Set a time in your schedule when you will take a break. When you give yourself time to rest, you will be ready for the next challenges. During this period, for example, organize a trip to the sea, to the mountains - do everything that you can't during the rest of the year.
