This does not mean that we will throw wafers on the fire instead of logs. The people of Vienna will be able to warm themselves with the excess heat generated during the production of Manner wafers.
Manner wafers will be used to keep warm in Vienna this winter! No, the capital of Austria did not run out of other fuel, nor did they get tired of these classic wafers, because in the Vienna wafer factory they developed a special process with which excess heat during wafer formation piped into the power line and used it to heat the whole year 600 nearby households.

And how does the wafer heating process work? During the baking of the wafers, it is created in the part of the oven hot air, which is collected in pipes and travels to the roof of the factory with the help of fans. There is a device that heats the water with hot air, with which they generate energy for the entire production, and the excess will be leased by Manner to Vienna's public energy company Wien Energie, which will store the heat in district heating network. In this way, it will be released into the environment annually thousand tons less carbon dioxide. Well done!
