According to the data of the World Economic Forum (World Economic Forum), as much as thirty-five percent of the skills that are considered important among employers today will lose their value in the future. Human resource management experts warn that both employers and job seekers will have to adopt the concept of lifelong learning due to rapid technological advances.
The global survey he conducted LinkedIn among five thousand human resource management professionals, reveals that they are soft skills more important today than ever before. As many as 80 % respondents were of the opinion that they are increasingly important for the business success of the organization, while 89 % stated that the lack of soft skills is the reason for the unsuccessful selection of candidates.
The most sought after skills are creativity and emotional intelligence
Adecco The latest research by Inovantage, which analyzed the markets of Central and Eastern Europe, predicts that employers will be looking for the following skills in the future: creativity, leadership and crisis management, determination and endurance, adaptability and problem solving, cross-cultural understanding, entrepreneurship, data literacy, diligence and quick learning. According to the World Economic Forum, they will be among the ten most important skills in 2020 solving complex problems, critical thinking, creativity, people management, collaboration, emotional intelligence, judgment and decision making, service focus, negotiation and cognitive flexibility.
Free learning of soft skills and business knowledge
"Coca-Cola's opportunity for young people" is an initiative developed by the company Coca-Cola HBC Slovenia in cooperation with the company Adecco Slovenia and for the second year in a row it offers support to young people in achieving their professional ambitions. It focuses mainly on young med 18 and 30 years of age. The program consists of two-day free educational workshops, where young people will acquire soft skills and business knowledge through practical workshops, which will help them in their personal development, job search and greater competitiveness on the labor market.
Experienced lecturers will share knowledge with young people this year: M.Sc. Aleš Vičič, a psychologist who has been one of the leading experts in the psychological preparation of athletes for 20 years and leads workshops on the topic of improving efficiency for key personnel in companies; Nastasija Alt, HR consultant at Adecco Slovenia; Borut Rozman, sales manager at Coca-Cola HBC Slovenia, and Matija Goljar, head of Trjajalnik, the first accelerator of youth entrepreneurship in Slovenia. At each workshop, young people will be joined by successful Slovenian entrepreneurs who will present their entrepreneurial stories.
The workshops will take place in Ljubljana (April 17 and 18), Maribor (May 15 and 16), To a new place (May 22 and 23), Murski Saturdays (May 29 and 30) and Dill (June 5 and 6).
