Zinos owns a restaurant in Hamburg. Lately, his luck has been failing him: his girlfriend Nadine has moved to Shanghai, regular customers are boycotting the new chef's revised gourmet menu. As if that wasn't enough, he also has lower back pain. Things start to improve when a revamped culinary plan attracts a new, trendy clientele, but that doesn't heal Zinos' broken heart, so he sets off for Nadine in China, leaving the restaurant in the hands of his criminal brother Illias. Both decisions turn out to be disastrous: Illias crashes the restaurant, which falls into the hands of a suspicious-looking real estate agent, and Nadine has a new lover. A dynamic comedy about a hopelessly disorganized restaurant boss and other endearing eccentrics that beats to the rhythm of modern multicultural Germany.
