Lamborghini Urus Performante: ʺdevilishʺ 666 horsepower

The Lamborghini Urus represents the extraordinary success of the car brand from SantʾAgata near Bologna, Italy. Due to competitors such as the Aston Martin DBX and the upcoming Ferrari Purosangue, they saw the need for an even more powerful version of the prestigious SUV, the Urus Performante.

Lamborghini Urus Performante gained some extra strength and lost a few pounds. It drives the most powerful Urus 4.0-liter V 8-cyl engine with ʺdevilsʺ 666 horsepower and 850 newton meters of torque. Compared to the ʺregularʺ Urus, it has the Performante 16 horsepower more. The Urus weight loss diet took care of the loss 47 kilograms, due to which now in le 3.3 seconds breaks through from 0 to 100 km/h. The maximum speed reached by the Performante model is 306 km/h.

In addition to more power and less weight, the Urus Performante has 20 mm lower chassis, and the distance between the wheel pairs increased by additional 16 mm. They are optional 23-inch rims or forged 22-inch rims with bolts made of titanium and Pirelli Trofeo R performance tires.

Not long ago, the Lamborghini Urus Performante became the fastest production SUV at the Pikes Peak race. Performante is for 25 mm longer than the ʺnormalʺ model, due to the modified front and rear bumper. Changes were made to the roof air deflector, modeled after the one on the Aventador SVJ model, which contributes additional 38% the force that sticks the rear of the car to the ground. The total force that presses the car on the road has thus increased by 8%. Company exhaust system Akrapovic is part of the standard equipment, as well as body parts made of carbon fiber. The 2023 Urus brings an additional driving mode Rally, which will improve the SUV's off-road capabilities.

The interior remains more or less unchanged, but what is new are the hexagonal seams on the seats, the so-called dark insert package and a new graphic design for the driver's screen and for the touch screen dedicated to the infotainment system.
