LJFW 2017 opened its doors

The long-awaited opening of LJFW Spring/Summer 2017 took place on March 29. As every year, the main program is complemented by an excellent range of events, which include much more than just fashion shows by Slovenian designers.

As part of the FASHION SCOUT SEE (Southeastern Europe) competition for fashion designers, which connects designers from the entire region, Singing Zorec – with a collection Tristan, Ana Jelinic – with a collection FiSHION and Sarah Valencia presented at the Belgrade Fashion Week. 20th anniversary of MIČSTYLING ART TEAM

At a time when the term 'influencer' is thrown around, it's nice to see a tribute to creators who actually co-create and influence people's appearance with their work. Mič styling has been operating on Slovenian soil for over 25 years, 20 of which have passed since the founding of the MIČ styling Art team. The influence of 'Mic's' aesthetics was best seen through the incredible stylistic coordination of all the invitees, who overwhelmingly dressed in black and white minimalist styling, characteristic of the Art team. In addition to Mitja Sojer's address, the invited guests witnessed an interesting fashion mix of the magazine and a dance performance by dancers choreographed by Žiga Sotlar and Erik Bukovnik. Mič Styling and LJFW have a long-standing partnership. This year, under the direction of Aska Kajtazović, they will take care of the hairstyles of the models at the magazines of the Ljubljana Fashion Week.
