What started in 1996 with Mercedes Australian Fashion Week, is today an internationally recognized chain of fashion weeks in metropolises such as Miami, Berlin, Sydney, Istanbul. The German car manufacturer launched its extremely popular models and media through its own fashion weeks, impressing connoisseurs and visitors with elegant transitions between the prestigious brand and bold fashion outings and campaigns. MBFW is fed from the most influential fashion designers, editors of the most prestigious fashion magazines and models. Carine Roitfeld, the icon of the French edition of Vogue magazine, Carine Roitfeld, the Dutch super model Lara Stone, among others, signed their name with the MBFW brand, and the cars with the three-pointed star also impressed the never-satisfied Samantha in the hit movie Sex and the City.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is coming to Ljubljana for the first time, so expectations are high. More than ten domestic and foreign fashion designers will present their spring-summer 2016 collections. In addition to fashion shows, creative workshops and lectures, as well as exclusive social evenings, the creative team also announces a special surprise from the Mercedes-Benz brand.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Ljubljana wants to contribute to the visibility of fashion creation and the promotion of new creative solutions with the licensed format and local knowledge and project partners. In this respect, the fashion week is also an exceptional opportunity for local fashion designers and creators to present themselves to the international arena of fashion connoisseurs, publicists, commentators, stylists and, of course, buyers.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Ljubljana is a premium fashion week that puts local and regional fashion designers in the foreground. Stars MBFWLJ will be internationally awarded designers who, with their confirmations of participation, already contribute to the visibility of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Ljubljana event in the European area.
