With its latest transformation of the iconic G-Wagne, Mercedes proves that it is ready for the future without neglecting its rich heritage. The G550 and AMG G63 models for 2025 bring a breath of fresh air to the already legendary collection of vehicles, which this time receive not only visual refreshes, but above all revolutionary technological progress.

In the foreground is the transition to hybrid technology with integrated 48-volt mild-hybrid system, found in both the entry-level G550 and the top-of-the-line G63. The 2025 G550 boasts a new 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six engine that, combined with a mild-hybrid system, delivers 443 hp and 560 Nm of torque. The AMG G63 retains its V8, but gains additional electric assistance, offering a total of 577 hp and 850 Nm of torque.

The Professional, AMG Line and Night packages are also available, each offering an additional sporty feel with different decorative elements and rims.

"Transparent Hood" technology allows drivers to see under the vehicle, which is especially useful when overcoming more demanding terrain. Pricing is not yet known for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class G550 and AMG G63. For reference, the 2024 G550 costs around €133,000 ($143,000) and the G63 around €170,000 ($183,000), which can serve as a guide for pricing expectations for the 2025 models.
