OpenAI on the verge of bankruptcy?! Is this the reason for the lower IQ of the popular ChatGPT?!

How an AI star became a financial black hole

From billion-dollar fame to bankruptcy? How the biggest language model became the most expensive chat room in the world. In the world of technology, things change rapidly. Yesterday's hero can be today's fallen angel. And if anyone thought OpenAI was on top of the world with their ChatGPT, they might be wrong. The star of artificial intelligence seems to have started to fall even before it reached its zenith.

When he did ChatGPT appeared in November last year, it was like a fresh star in the sky of artificial intelligence. But what happens when a star shines too quickly? Of course, it becomes a black hole. And that may be happening with OpenAI. Minus $540 million in less than a year? It's like Elon Musk losing one of his SpaceX rockets every day.

Daily expenses 700,000 dollars for maintenance ChatGPT? It's almost like buying a new luxury car every day, parking it in the yard and letting it rust. And all this for a chatbot that was initially so popular that it had more fans than some Hollywood stars.

But celebrities come and go. And so it is with ChatGPT users. In July, the number of users fell by 12 percent. Maybe they got tired of asking ChatGPT, whether he believes in aliens or what he thinks about pineapple on pizza.

More and more users have started to report that ChatGPT has become, how shall I say… a little “slower in the head”. Some argue that his IQ dropped more than the stock market during the recession. Instead of deep and thoughtful answers, ChatGPT started giving answers that you might expect from your five-year-old nephew. For a long time we wondered why this was so. Maybe he spent too much time on social media? Did he listen too much to political debates?

But no, apparently the real reason is a bit more banal. Financial problems. Who would have thought that a chatbot capable of discussing quantum physics would have trouble with the simple concept of profit and loss? OpenAI seems to have considered a new business model where ChatGPT would charge more than just a token $20 per month for its services. Maybe you could start charging extra for each smart question? Or for every answer that actually makes sense?

However, it is not just ChatGPT that is facing problems. The competition is brutal. When ChatGPT came on the scene, he was like the new boy in town who won over all the girls. But now he's like that high school kid who used to be popular, but then a new guy came along with a better car and a bigger video game collection. ChatSonic API, YouChat, Google Bard… all these new “guys” want a piece of the glory that ChatGPT once had.

And if that's not enough, there's the lack of graphics cards. It's like Batman running out of baterangs. Or like Iron Man running out of energy for his armor. And then there's the internal struggle within OpenAI. While some corporate executives dream of yachts and private islands, CEO Sam Altman dreams of a better future for all of us. And he may be the one who will ultimately save OpenAI from financial collapse.

In the world of technology, the only constant is change. Today you are a star, tomorrow you are forgotten news. But perhaps there is a lesson in all of this for us all. That technology is not only about profit, but also about responsibility. And if anyone is capable of finding a way out of this black hole, it's definitely OpenAI. But for now, let's cross our fingers and hope for the best.
