Ballet champion Misty Copeland recreates paintings by Edgar Degas.

Misty Copeland, the first black prima ballerina, is once again impressing with the status she recently achieved with American Ballet Theatre. This time, not with a performance, but with photographs in which she recreated scenes from paintings by the painter Edgar Degas. You can see the detailed scenes below.

Prima ballerina Misty Copeland, which is considered a synonym for diversity in ballet, also squeezed into her busy schedule a photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar, in which, together with a group of ballet dancers, she recreated scenes from famous French paintings by the painter Edgar Degas, which celebrate ballet.

As he says, posing was exhausting, as you had to pay attention to every detail. The series of photographs was created as a promotion of the exhibition Edgar Degas: A Strange New Beauty, opening in New York on March 26, 2016.
