Soft, refreshing pastry with cheese filling. Believe it or not, it combines two popular desserts, cheesecake and chocolate muffins. All the senses enjoyed this chocolate cake with cherries.
Chocolate cake with cherries
Ingredients
- Ingredients for the dough:
- 200 g of butter
- 250 g of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g of flour
- 6 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- pinch of salt Ingredients for the filling:
- 250 g of cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 80 g of sugar
- 250 g of cherries
Directions
- Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until foamy, then add the eggs, one at a time. Beat until all ingredients are combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix cocoa, flour and salt, then add the mixture with butter and eggs to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Pour half of the mixture into the pan and level it.
- For the filling, beat the cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract and sugar with a mixer and spread the mixture over the first layer of dough in the baking dish. Arrange the cherries on top, then pour over the other half of the dough and bake everything together for 30-35 minutes.
- After it is baked, let it cool at room temperature.
