Snickers cake
Ingredients
- Ingredients for the dough:
- 3 eggs
- 90 g of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 25 g of unsalted butter
- 30 ml of milk
- 75 g of flour
- 15 g of cocoa powder Ingredients for the filling:
- 120 g of sugar
- 55 g of unsalted butter
- 85 ml of sweet cream
- pinch of salt
- 100 g of peanuts Ingredients for the glaze:
- 100 g of chocolate
- 100 ml of sweet cream
- 100 g of peanuts Additionally:
- 200 ml of sweet cream
- 30 g of powdered sugar
- 200 g of cream cheese
Directions
- Pour water into a large pot and place it on the stove to boil. Place a small container on top of the pot, into which we will put the eggs, sugar and vanilla extract. Simmer the ingredients briefly while stirring constantly, then remove from the stove. Mix until the ingredients are foamy.
- Add the sifted flour and cocoa and mix until all the ingredients are well combined. In another bowl, melt the butter and milk, then add a little of the flour mixture and mix. Pour into the flour mixture to make a milky mixture.
- Cover the prepared model with baking paper and pour the prepared mixture into it. Lightly sprinkle to distribute evenly over the model. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 30 minutes. Let it cool down after baking.
- While the crust is cooling, prepare the caramel filling. Heat the sugar in a pan until it caramelizes. Add the butter, salt and sweet cream and stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Then remove from the stove and stir in the peanuts. Let the filling cool to room temperature.
- For the chocolate glaze, melt the chocolate with the sweet cream. When the mixture cools down a bit, add peanuts and mix. Let the glaze cool completely.
- Beat the sweet cream with powdered sugar and add the cream cheese. We get a creamy filling.
- Cut the cooled crust in half and place one half in the mold. Spread the cream filling evenly over the crust, then place the caramel and peanut filling on top. Place the other half of the crust on top and cover it with the remaining cream filling.
- Cover the cake with chocolate glaze to which we have added peanuts. If desired, we can additionally decorate with chopped peanuts. Put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, so that the fillings and glaze harden nicely.
