Rolling huts are a modern alternative to camping

Rolling huts

Rolling huts, hospitable cabins in an idyllic alpine valley, with a fireplace, wi-fi and perfect design cater for all "urban savages".

They are located in Washington Methow Valley, and he designed them as a modern alternative to camping Tom Kundig of Olson Kundig Architects from Seattle. Six cottages scattered across the meadow like "stalls for livestock on a ranch" (that's how they put it somewhere) make up a mini-settlement, but at the same time each cottage is independent and unobstructed from the others.

Rolling huts they stand in an idyllic alpine valley, surrounded by mountains. Each of the six faces the mountains, but at the same time they are facing each other in such a way that they do not interfere with each other's privacy. Everything is designed so that the visitor here feels as close to nature as possible.

The mini-village started to emerge when the owner wanted a place where he could host his friends and family. Beautiful cabins have been created in the wilderness of the Alpine valley, which can be rented by anyone. Every one a cottage it has a small refrigerator, microwave, wireless and a fireplace. The sleeping space is intended for two, in addition to that there is also in the house modular furniture in the living room, where two more can sleep. Toilets, showers and bathrooms are in the cottage, a little far from the village, but of course not too far. It's the only thing that actually minimally reminds of camping.
