"Best Buy" is an interesting category. It does not necessarily contain the latest products. This category is reserved for those products where you get the most for your money. This is also why the Samsung Galaxy Buds (SM-R170) are the current winner in the "price-performance" category.
Despite the fact that Samsung recently introduced an improved version with the new phones Samsung Galaxy Buds+, we think that due to the pricing strategy, they are really "last year's" headphones Samsung Galaxy Buds those for which, in our opinion, it is worth shaking out your euros from your wallet. Namely, the price of the latter fell with the arrival of new ones a good 40 percent, which means that they represent an excellent ratio between quality and price. So if you are a device user Samsung, then you will through the application Samsung Gear operated the headphones without any problems Samsung Galaxy Buds, and with each system upgrade you get one slight improvement. Among all presented headphones, we used the latter the longest. We're excited about the fact that they've been technologically updated and gotten better over time. The sound was also getting better, which is actually achilles heel and one of the major minuses of this product.
DESIGN = 9/10
They are nicely designed and a high-quality technological product. The feel of the materials is excellent. Even with increased use, there are no visible signs of wear on them. We can also praise the fact that in to the ear itself extremely neutral and unobtrusive. From the ears they stick out just a tiny bit. We can also praise the fact that at sports activities they do not fall out of the ears. But they are slightly uncomfortable. This needs to be emphasized. The headphones are not made of silicone or rather it is only for a shade. So it dominates hard plastic. This is also why long-term wearing can be "tiring". The only criticism comes at the expense of the fact that they are quite ordinary in design. There is no design "manliness" or excess. And sometimes it's just like that! 
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS = 7/10
All well and good, but sports headphones they must have a high level of water resistance. Here Samsung Galaxy Buds unfortunately, it only supports a relatively low standard IPX2, which means that they are resistant to moisture and nothing more. Although everything else in the field of technical specifications is in the best order (Bluetooth 5.0, battery, weight, …), precisely the problem with water resistance lowers the general evaluation of the technical characteristics of the headphones. So it will be better if you leave the Samsung Galaxy Buds at home when you go for a long run, if you expect rainy weather or if you are going to a beach party. On the other hand, we can praise extremely good connectivity. The latter is at the level of integration in the Apple ecosystem. Samsung deserves a thumbs up here!
SOUND QUALITY = 7/10
Cooperation with AKG, a brand of Samsung, did not bear real fruit. Throughout the period of use otherwise the headphones were getting better, which is interesting. But they still don't have enough volume. In the case of using headphones at the gym, this means that they are "conditionally useful", as the sound from the surroundings is exceptional disturbing. In addition to the lack of volume, because the headphones just can't do it override sounds from the surroundings, is of course a problem in all areas of sound. Bass is practically absent. Despite the fact that the Samsung Gear application can be used to adjust the sound modes, there is practically no effect on the headphones. We recommend the headphones especially to undemanding users who will mostly listen to podcasts with them. Audiophiles but you better avoid these headphones. You will suffer!
QUALITY - PRICE RATIO = 8/10
At the time of writing this article, the headphones Samsung Galaxy Buds (SM-R170) Slovenian online retailers sell for an average price 99,90 euros. This is more than 80 euros lower than the original price, and thus suitable for the product. Headphones SSamsung Galaxy Buds they get a good rating in this category mainly because of the reduced price, which reflects the real value of the device.

With the Samsung Galaxy Buds, you can let's praise the design and connectivity. That's them the strongest trump card. If you will only use the headphones at light fitness, we see no problems. However, greater efforts associated with greater amounts of sweat are definitely not recommended.
