When two icons meet at the crossroads of history and innovation, magic happens - TAG Heuer x Porsche. Imagine driving the open roads of Mexico with the wind blowing through your hair while listening to the sound of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS engine. The TAG Heuer watch measures your stage time. No, this is not a dream. This is the reality created by the combination of Porsche and TAG Heuer. And if you think this is just another car, get ready for a surprise!

70 years ago are two teams with Porsche 550 Coupé participated in the spectacular Carrera Panamericana. And 60 years ago, Jack Heuer introduced the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph, named after this legendary Mexican road race. This double anniversary and their close association with the legendary Carrera are celebrated with a special project “Sonderwunsch”.

Porsche and TAG Heuer they have been partners for many years, dating back to a long-term partnership in motorsport. Project 'TAG Heuer x Porsche – Legends of Panamericana' was inspired by the 550 Coupé in which two teams competed in the Carrera Panamericana in 1953. The Sonderwunsch car with race number 154 will debut this weekend at Rennsport Reunion 7. Patrick Dempsey, racing driver, American actor and TAG Heuer brand ambassador, will drive this new sports car in the first two stages of this year's Carrera Panamericana in mid-October.

Both sports cars were produced in the Porsche Sonderwunsch workshop in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen with help Porsche style, corporate archive, Porsche Latin America and in partnership with TAG Heuer.

TAG Heuer x Porsche decided to have a little party on their anniversary and remembered all of us who sometimes forget about mom's birthday. While Porsche celebrates the 70th anniversary of participation in the Carrera Panamericana, TAG Heuer and the 60th anniversary of their racing chronograph watch, they both decided it was time for a little luxury. And what is more luxurious than two models 718 Cayman GT4 RS, which are so shiny silver they could be used as a make-up touch-up mirror? Sure, if you had time to do it while racing down the road. And if you think that's all, you're wrong. The interior of the car is painted in a screaming red color so vibrant that you could mistake the car for a luxury handbag. Not to mention the three-part Mexican flag embroidery, which is so detailed you could mistake it for the artist's work. And while all of this is already impressive enough, the number 154 in the car is even more special TAG Heuer stopwatch, which is so exclusive that it cannot be purchased. So if you thought you were something special with your personalized phone case, you're wrong. Porsche and TAG Heuer have set new standards.
