Home is where the heart is, not where the house has two bedrooms. Or better yet.. A little space, a little worry. Lots of space, lots of care. So you could sort of paraphrase the saying 'small children, small worries - big children, big worries'. It is already the case that we have been implanted in our heads with the idea that a small apartment is synonymous with a difficult life, that those who do not have much money live in it, or those who live from hand to mouth. Large apartments, generous with space, are what we long for. The fact is that happiness in life is not directly proportional to square meters. A small home can have everything we need (see gallery), while at the same time allowing us to focus on the things in life that are really important.

The lighting of the room is part of the furnishing, just like the placement of furniture and other equipment. Light plays a key role in creating the overall atmosphere of a home and giving shape to a room, but many people forget or neglect it. We have prepared a number of simple tips on how to do it correctly.
If this is what life looks like on the edge, then we immediately sign up to such a fate. An Australian estate in Port Douglas that you'd be forgiven for mistaking for a spaceship juts out of a hill that rises above the idyllic Australian coast, creating a real sense of living on the edge. The luxury home is currently for sale, but of course the owner won't part with it for a little money. You will have to shell out a staggering 6.5 million US dollars for it. And yes, it is real estate.
YO! Home is a small apartment that allows incredible metamorphosis. It is a revolutionary way of using apartments, the concept of which has practically not changed since the beginning of their construction. Simon Woodroffea has already demonstrated the extremely economical use of space with the futuristic Yotel hotels, Yo! Home is a step further. It's a home that uses the mechanics we're used to on stage sets, which can quickly turn a single-apartment apartment into a multi-apartment apartment, into a living room, into a dining room, into a bedroom, into practically anything.
A church might not seem like an ideal place to live, but the architects at Scrafano Architects have convinced us otherwise, who, in collaboration with Linc Thelen Design, turned an empty church in Chicago into a beautiful family apartment. The pews, pulpit, altar, confessionals and other religious "furniture" had to go, replaced by minimalist, secular pieces of furniture, while the "belly" of the church remained intact, including the beautiful arched windows and stained glass windows. Thus, history and modernity meet in every room.

Optically, of course, because the square meters will not go anywhere, but you will therefore greatly increase the level of living comfort by making maximum use of the room. And who has a magic wand that turns your small house into a big one? The arrangement of furniture and the play of colors.
