Nissan brought the new generation of the off-road capable x-Trail closer to the Qashqai, losing a little in terms of sharpness, but gaining a lot in terms of fashion and performance. Therefore, we are not at all afraid of its market success, although due to the higher price and the previously mentioned similarity with the qashqai, many people will prefer to reach for the cheaper option.
The X4 is the continuation of the story with the X6, with which BMW opened a new sub-segment of a crossover between an SUV and a sports coupe and now extends this concept to the mid-size class. Compared to its bigger brother, it has a few less noses, but it's still a feast for the eyes, and considering the similar spaciousness and usability, I would definitely prefer the first one.
For some time, the Mini Countryman has been considered the largest mini model, which can also satisfy the basic family needs and the customer's wishes for easier entry and higher seating. However, when the cooper SD ALL4 is added to its name, it means even more sporty driving, even off-road, and economical consumption.
Lexus wants more European buyers, which is why they are venturing into ever new segments, this time the medium SUV segment. In this regard, the new NX, which convinces with its pleasing image, sedan comfort, hybrid drive and, last but not least, a favorable price, should mix future competitors such as the X3, Q3, GLK and Evoque.
One of Nissan's more robust SUVs - the X-trail model - has moved into more mod(er) waters in the third generation, as evidenced by a more pleasing image and less robust design, and it is now closest to the qashqai in terms of design and technology. For now, only one engine is available, combined with two drives and gearboxes, and prices range from 26 to 40 thousand euros.
