This chocolate mousse is so easy, it will convince you in no time.

Chocolate cream or chocolate mousse, is a delicious after-meal treat. The French classic has its own rules and requires quite a bit of skill. Its preparation is often time-consuming, and you also need quite a few ingredients.

But not for this recipe. This is a "fake" mousse, the recipe of which you will remember in no time, and for which you only need egg white snow and chocolate. The result is a chocolate cream with a perfect taste and delicate structure. For preparation desserts you need less than 5 minutes!

Ingredients

  • chocolate with at least 60% cocoa
  • 3 eggs

Directions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a large bowl over steam.
  2. Mix the egg yolks into the melted chocolate.
  3. Whip the egg whites into firm snow, but not the hardest.
  4. Add the snow little by little to the bowl of chocolate. Do not mix, just gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate to get a uniform mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into cups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  6. Serve with fresh mint leaves, strawberries, a scoop of vanilla ice cream or unsweetened whipped cream.
