Although it did people's life span extended, there are still more of those who only live into their 80s. But it seems incredible that someone can spend so many decades in a marriage - Masao Matsumoto and his wife Miyako managed to do it!

The Japanese are the oldest living couple in the world... and thus entered the Guinness Book of Records. Masao is 108 years old and Miyako is 100. They were married in October 1937, but they never made a celebration in honor of the emergency marriage, because at that time there was a war in Japan, which her husband was also a part of.
