Family resort - Falkensteiner Family Resort Lido – in the place Casteldarne in Italy, located in an idyllic valley Pustertal, has redefined family vacations with the recent renovation and expansion of the noa* studio. This historic hotel, established in 1957, now boasts a stunning rooftop playground full of sports and entertainment options. The revitalized resort promises, to enchant visitors with its seamless blend of alpine scenery, innovative architecture and family experiences.

The vision for the renovation was to create a harmonious space where families can connect and create memories. studio noa* achieved this by integrating the hotel complex with the surrounding alpine environment with an extraordinary undulating roof structure. This unique rooftop playground that spans the 300 meters in length and covers the surface 4,900 square meters, offers sports and entertainment content all year round.

Guests can cross the roof via a circular path where they will find recreation park with various sports and entertainment stations. It is on the eastern slope 163 meter long ski track with a lift, which is mainly intended for children. The artificial bottom allows year-round use, as does the ice rink at the highest point of the roof. West side offers a large fitness center, bobby car track, elevated mini adventure park and football field, basketball and other activities. A 120-meter-long water slide winds its way over the lake to an underground space with additional play areas and a pool.

They are all over the complex green surfaces interwoven to create continuity with the surrounding woods. This approach of sustainable design emphasizes a strong connection between the hotel and the Alpine landscape. In addition, the facade of the hotel was renovated with natural wood patterns and a monochrome scheme reminiscent of the aesthetics of traditional alpine barns.

Inside the resort are playful and child-friendly design elements combined with references to the natural environment. The restaurant overlooks the lake and features decor inspired by the surrounding forest, with lily-shaped seating and reed-like lamps. The self-service area creates a lively market atmosphere with stations of various shapes intended for both adults and children.

Hotel entrance and reception have been redesigned to include round shapes, bright colors and decorations that refer to the flora and fauna of the forest. A pleasant area with swings and merry-go-rounds for children complements the lounge area for parents.

With 36 new rooms in the resort, the total number of pclimbs to 118, with a special emphasis on family-friendly accommodation. Each room has separate areas for parents and children, separated by a sliding partition, and a large bathroom with sinks at different heights. The children's section offers three beds, one of which is a nesting bed inspired by the falcon, the symbol of the hotel. Even when it is not occupied, the nest-nest offers children a fun and playful space.
