Vipp: a hotel chain a bit different

There is almost no worse nightmare for a traveler than the one when, after a long day of wandering, he wants to check into the hotel, it is already very late, and the receptionist informs him that, unfortunately, all the rooms are occupied. But now there is a hotel where, when you book a room, you will be told the same news, but it will make you happy. Um?

Denmark company Vipp, whose beginnings date back to long ago in 1939, is otherwise famous for a large selection of kitchen and bathroom accessories. But now they have decided to try another v hotel industry, which they want to tackle a bit a different way. Instead of building a larger building with a large number of rooms, they chose to build more smaller hotel units with only one room. The units differ from each other, they only have a minimalist design in common. For now, they offer overnight stays in two locations, namely in Immeln, Sweden, and Copenhagen, Denmark, but they will soon add two more.

Vipp Shelter room is located in Sweden and is surrounded by wild Swedish nature. Instead of a wide TV screen, you will have available 2 comfortable armchairs from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of nature. If you tilt your head slightly back and look up, you will be able to observe the treetops and stars through the glass window. They don't even offer Wi-Fi, so get ready for a real disconnect.

Vipp Loft, which is located just at the company's headquarters in Copenhagen, but it will remind you of home more than staying in a hotel. Oak beams will conjure homeliness, industrially furnished room but it will also satisfy aesthetes.

Price for overnight stay in Shelter costs 1,000 euros per night for 2 people, and in the Loft 1,500 euros per night for 4 people.
