We will be able to see how much imagination the new Association of Young Designers and Artists (DOUM) has at their opening party.
DOUM is an association of up-and-coming and ambitious creatives from various fields who want to cultivate the creative spirit and expand the mission design, art and culture. "The purpose of our association is to support young designers and artists and to encourage creativity in society, while at the same time we strive to connect creative people, exchange knowledge, spread acquaintances and socialize," she explained to us. Masha Mazi, one of the founders of the association, with which we would like to achieve a market breakthrough. "We believe that we will be stronger as a group. As they say – more heads know more.''
While DOUMovci they are planning creative workshops, courses and lectures in the future, it is ahead of them the first opening exhibition with Title Transformation. With music from the keyboard DJ Illusion visitors will be able to walk past a wide variety of photographs, peek among transformed furniture and home accessories, and follow cute mini cruisers made of Plexiglas on four wheels. Kumomi Design, Ups Atelje, Petra Božič and Živa Lutman, Blaž Bačar, Katja Čebular, Brina Gluvič, Klavdija Jarc, Jure Matoz, Maša Mazi, Anja Mencinger, Marko Šafarič, Fat Rat, Pirate Piška and Vuccineli will present their products.
"At Transformations it's about someone creative process from an idea to something that becomes a product or a work of art. The same applies to materials from which products are made and the like. So everything we do is a transformation from one to the other. But we also transform ourselves into designers while we create something," she told us more about the event co-founder of the association Tanja Grujičić. Transformation in the later hours, it will turn into a party, which will be conducted by the turntables DJ Pohalino.
