Where to this weekend? #45

Buh! This weekend is going to be a very special weekend. For some, an extended holiday for others, and for all, scary and terrifying. At least the beginning. Are we ready for a magical treat?

Friday

If we have already decided which scary mask we will put on Halloween and always baked the most in the morning horrible sweets  it's time for the witch's day to really begin.

At 2 p.m., the youngest witches can go to the witches' party at the Celje Youth Center, where we will dance with the witches, create with bats, learn to fly with a flying broom, have fun and have fun, and at 4 p.m. watch a musical theater performance . It will also be creative in the Španski borci culture center in Ljubljana, where children are invited at 10 a.m., when workshops on making wizard and elf hats and unique pumpkin lamps using various art techniques begin. Just don't forget to register, as the number of participants is limited.

And then, as night falls, will come the scariest night of the year. Fans of horror films can, as for the last six years, spend it on the traditional A 12-hour horror marathon based on the selection of Marcel Štefančič, jr., which returns to Kinodvor. It will also take place in musical wizarding fairies. The traditional Bright & Dark Side Of The 80's Halloween party is set to take place in Gala Hala and Channel Zero on Ljubljana's Metelkova, in the KMŠ Club, the percussive Fatal Sounds Dubstep XII will invade in a witch's disguise, and the Dead Kings will rule the underground on Kersnikova, in the K4 Club. It will also be screaming in the Festival Hall in Ljubljana at the Halloween Reincarnation Party, in the Plusminus Club in Maribor at the biggest Halloween party in the Styrian capital, and in the Bazen in Kranje at Joške v'n - a witch's evening. Fear and trembling!

At 5 o'clock in the morning on the traditional Horror Nights 7 in Kinodvor:

Saturday

On Saturday...we all rest. Nah. It's not worth it. Why should we sleep through a holiday that can be spent in a more cultural spirit after visiting the graves. On Thursday, October 30, a solo exhibition by the Viennese artist Markus Guschelbauer, whose works deal with the complex relationship between nature and culture, opened in Photon - the Center for Contemporary Photography in Ljubljana. The day before, on Wednesday, Željko Stevanić's exhibition titled Films in Photography opened its doors in the Small Gallery of Cankarjev dom in the capital.

If we continue Saturday in the film world and are eager for younger company, we can watch the wonderful animation Pika and Packa packat with the children at Kinodvor at 3:30 p.m., followed by the youth film Gašper and Petra - best friends at 5 p.m.

Sunday

So that the extended weekend won't tire us too much, we can spend Sunday quietly and join the guided tour of the Biennale of Design exhibition, Bio 50, at the Museum of Architecture and Design at Fužine Castle at 11 a.m. Since it will be the first Sunday of the month, admission is free.

If we have enough strength and there is not a lot of work or studying waiting for us next week, we can use the second evening of November to jump to Vienna, where the Stadthalle will host concert of the American music diva Lady Gaga. A weekend as expected.
