Face on the pillow

When you sleep on your side, gravity causes your eyes and dark circles to swell as fluid drains from your face. Such sleep can also lead to relaxation of the facial skin and loss of collagen, which accelerates the skin aging process. To avoid these effects, try sleeping on your back.

You don't wash your face

It's not uncommon for women to forget to remove their makeup before bed, but this is definitely a step you don't want to skip. Washing your face before bed is essential to remove impurities, sweat and make-up accumulated during the day.
If you skip this step, keep in mind that it can affect the unclogging of the pores and, in turn, the formation of acne and pimples. Use a gentle exfoliator to keep your facial skin clean and ready for regeneration overnight.

You use too many care products

If you use a lot of skin care products and are not sure about the correct use of each product, it can harm your skin. For example: products containing retinol are used to prevent and reduce wrinkles, but mixed with products containing benzoyl peroxide (an acne-fighting ingredient) can dry out and irritate the skin.

When the skin becomes dry and irritated, it is red and looks inflamed, and as a result even the smallest wrinkles become visible. Instead, stick to products you know and that work for your skin type.

You don't drink enough water

Hydration is crucial for skin health, as water is a basic component of the skin and the structure beneath it. When the body becomes dehydrated, the skin loses its natural glow, which in the short term can cause dry skin and a wrinkled appearance around the eyes. If dehydration continues, it can eventually lead to a loss of skin elasticity. If you want to keep your skin youthful and elastic, try to drink at least six glasses of water every day.
