Aston Martin has a luxury SUV

In the world of extremely powerful SUVs, a new competitor has appeared - the Aston Martin DBX. this already offers as much as 542 horsepower with the basic standard version. But this is just the beginning! There is also a version labeled DBX707.

Of course, there is a version that James Bond would choose, codenamed DBX707. In this one you will find the familiar 4.0-liter V8 engine, tuned to produce no less than 707 horsepower and 900 Newton meters of torque. All those familiar with "classic" internal combustion engines will be delighted with the information. Aston Martin installed a new pair of ball-bearing turbochargers in the engine along with a new engine calibration. More air is added, but at the same time requires better piping to remove it, so the DBX707 gets an all-new four-outlet active exhaust system. Of course, you can tell by the "sound" that the V8 under the hood is capable of creating.

Power means nothing if you can't use it, and to Aston Martin's credit, a lot of work has gone into powering the DBX707. For starters, there's a new nine-speed wet-clutch gearbox with automatic and manual modes for quicker shifting. An updated version of the rear differential, which is stronger and boasts a shorter final ratio of 3:27 for better acceleration. The all-wheel drive system sends power to the front or rear where power is most needed, but the differential calibration helps with cornering.

The chassis has additional reinforcement, and the air suspension has received revised shock absorbers and springs for less body roll. The whole thing is helped by 22-inch wheels, or 23-inch wheels as an option.

With the “Race Start” mode, which pushes the SUV forward from 4000 rpm, it reaches 100 km/h in about 3.1 seconds. Hold the throttle all the way and the DBX707 will reach a whopping 310 km/h. That's enough to surpass all of its luxury rivals.
