Maribor boasts the first do-it-yourself beer brewery in Slovenia, and it allows all fans of this drink to use brewing equipment, purchase raw materials and simply brew beer. BeerLab is located in the basement of the Tkalka building in the center of Maribor, and it is managed by the institute for the development of creative technologies Citilab.

BeerLab was created from a joke - a team Citilab she wondered why people should not be offered the opportunity to brew their own beer, to realize their own ideas and concepts. And so, in December, BeerLab really opened, where the user can in the laboratory with brews beer with fermenters and other equipment.
