In 1999, the Breitling Orbiter 3 achieved the impossible – for the first time in history, a balloon circled the world non-stop. This feat is now celebrated with a special edition Aerospace watch.

A quarter of a century ago, the Breitling Orbiter 3, named after the Swiss watchmaker with roots deep in aviation, redrew the boundaries of what was possible. With its unstoppable flight, the British-made balloon launched from the Swiss Alps cemented its place in history, and landing in Egypt was just the icing on the cake of the 19-day, 21-hour, 47-minute feat.

In honor of this historic turning point, Breitling presents Breitling Aerospace B70 Orbiter, a limited edition watch that, with its vibrant orange dial and Orbiter 3 emblem, not only commemorates the success, but also includes a piece of the original balloon. But that's not all - with an all-new SuperQuartz movement that provides ten times more precision than conventional quartz movements, this timepiece sets new standards.

The technical finesse of the Breitling Aerospace B70 Orbiter is truly impressive. The titanium case measures 43mm in diameter and is water-resistant to 100 meters, meaning the watch is ready for any adventure, whether in the air or underwater. A crystal-clear sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a bi-directional 60-minute bezel adds functionality and elegance. With the new movement, the thickness of the watch increases slightly to 12.95 mm, providing space for the innovative SuperQuartz movement, which not only brings exceptional precision, but also a series of useful functions: from a countdown timer, chronograph, second time zone, two alarms, lap counter to the perpetual calendar. All of these functions are displayed on a digital display that complements the analog dial. The watch comes with a matching titanium bracelet, and there is also an option with a rubber strap, which further emphasizes its versatility and sporty spirit.

Whether you are already a fan of the Aerospace collection or just discovering its charms, the Breitling Aerospace B70 Orbiter will delight you with the same specifications as its predecessors, but with added features for even better control. From the multifunction digital displays to the new switches next to the crown, every detail has been thought through.

For those who appreciate technology and history, the Breitling Aerospace B70 Orbiter is not just a watch, but a bridge between the past and the future. Available for 4,700 $ (comparable to Euros), this timepiece is not only a tribute to the longest non-stop balloon flight, but also a symbol of innovation and the fearless spirit of exploration that Breitling has nurtured for 140 years.
