The iconic Toyota Hilux pick-up is now unbeatable!

Toyota Hilux

The Toyota Hilux is a legendary workman's car and by far the best-selling pick-up truck outside the US. Most remember it from the motoring series Top Gear, when the stars of Top Gear tried in vain to destroy this working machine. And since then, Toyota and the Hilux model have been given the nickname "unbeatable"!

A car that earned its fame for its own sake field capabilities and endurance, he experienced thorough renovation. That's what happened just under three years after the arrival of the current generation on the market. The concretely redesigned front end of the Hilux, which looks like a completely new model of the vehicle, surprised us. Due to the really concrete changes in the front, the otherwise visible changes in other design features do not seem so drastic. We have to admit that the form is more coherent and mature.

Inside, it's about redesign almost nothing happened. The materials are better, but they didn't stop there! The renewed Hilux generation brings new instruments and improved "technique" connected to the infotainment system. Toyota boasted that the car offers state-of-the-art audio equipment, including an 800-watt JBL system, and there's also a new Invincible trim package that boasts exterior lettering.

They did not change the interior. They just refreshed it!

Somehow they also improved the practicality Hilux. From now on, all versions have payload one ton and can tow a trailer up to 3.5 tons. Which is otherwise standard and Ford Ranger has been able to do it for several years. The range of engines was expanded by adding a new, more powerful one 2.8 liter diesel engine with 204 hp. This engine allows the Hilux to accelerate to 100 km/h in just ten seconds with an average fuel consumption of 7.8 l/100 km. Selling new Hilux will probably start in Slovenia at the end of the year, but the prices are not yet known.
