For many, the iPhone has become their primary camera. Despite its many capabilities and functions, users miss the possibility of manual camera control. For this purpose, budding photographers have developed a special attachment for the iPhone - Fjorden, which you can already get on Kickstarter.

Extension Fjorden attaches to the iPhone with an adhesive pad and connects to it via Bluetooth. It includes a control knob that lets you adjust exposure, shutter speed, ISO, aperture, focus, and more. You can use the multi-function button to change shooting modes, adjust the flash, and more. In addition to the above, Fjorden also allows you to switch between iPhone lenses and quickly zoom in and out.

The fjord itself is 10.7 mm wide. The total width with the iPhone 12 Pro is 21 mm, which allows you to easily fit it in a trouser pocket.

Fjorden works with an app Fjorden Camera. The camera app is designed for fast and intuitive one-handed photography. The app's user interface is fully customizable, allowing the user to add features or parameters to control Fjorden hardware. The application is compatible with all iPhone models with iOS 14 or later.

Applications Fjorden Camera includes features such as full exposure control (including EV, shutter speed, ISO, AE-L), focus modes, white balance, lens switching and digital zoom, film simulations, file formats (including ProRAW on compatible iPhone models ) and others. Fjorden uses a standard CR2430 coin cell battery and promises up to 12 months of battery life.
