A set of chess pieces that will amaze even the biggest collectors. Rachael Garcia, owner of the online store TheCirious13, created a set of 32 chess pieces made from real dead mice.
Different shapes and even colors, dressed in clothes, change into chess pawns, knights, fortresses, kings and queens during the game. On the border between bizarreness and contemporary art, they may evoke sympathy. However, as their creator states, the little rodents come from a captive breeding facility. So now instead of in the throats of reptiles, they reign on the chessboard.
