In terms of equipment, it is worth highlighting large digital display, which takes up most of the gauges in front of the driver, the two analog ones on each side only complement it. Sound insulation is also better, thanks to chassis refinements and thicker side windows. The driving dynamics have also been improved, more lightweight and recycled materials are used in the bodywork, an example of which is the front bumper manufactured from recycled bottles.

Between advanced technology and other comfortable equipment, the Ford Mondeo is richer for full LED headlights, which are otherwise always available for an additional fee,  parking assistance according to the new system, it also helps the new driver to leave the parking space, passengers in the back row are also protected by inflatable safety belts, the size of which increases by five times in a crisis situation.

For engines, there is a choice on the petrol side ecoboost engines size 1.5- or 2.0 liters, and power 118, 150 and 176 kW, and on the diesel side we find two versions known 2.0 TDCI aggregate with power 110- respectively 132 kW.
