After selling 1.5 million units, it's time for a new pioneer of the urban SUV segment – the new Captur! It comes in a facelifted form that showcases updated SUV stances that are both athletic and dynamic. It is still flexible, but thanks to the revolution of the interior, with which it reaches new dimensions in technology and quality, it has become even more hospitable.

Elegantly sculpted fenders, recessed sides and "floating" roof: the new Captur is recognizable at first glance. It's more athletic and dynamic, thoroughly redesigned in line with the enhanced genetic design of the SUV. The transformation of the exterior gave him more modern moves, more emphasized and more expressive, which at the same time respect the sensual aspects of what Renault calls "French Design" and value it accordingly. The new Captur is slightly longer and its design is accentuated with 18-inch rims. The newly defined appearance, the extreme precision of the contacts, the lamps equipped exclusively with light-emitting diodes, the brand's lighting seal in the form of the inverted letters C at the front and rear, the narrower taillights and decorative chrome inserts significantly contribute to the improved quality.

With a more athletic body and a raised side line, the new Captur has authentic SUV look. This is further enhanced by special elements: protective linings under the front and rear bumpers, black protective trims on the lower part of the body and fenders, and an aluminum roof rack. The creased engine hood that descends towards the hood, the more accentuated slope of the roof at the back and the reduction of glazed areas provide it with a greater degree of dynamism.

Atacama Orange, Fire Red and Prussian Blue are just three of the body colors available for the new Captur, in addition amethyst black for the INITIALE PARIS version. These colors emphasize the athletic figure and dynamic appearance of the new Captur with extraordinary depth and shine, as well as the appearance of the "floating" roof, which is particularly evident on the two-tone variants. Buyers of the new Captur can choose from as many as 90 possible combinations, which is a unique offer in this segment.

The new Captur has been fitted as standard since the basic version exclusively with light emitting diodes (LED) fitted headlamps and Renault models characteristic light seal in the form of the letters C facing each other. The very narrow rear lights of the new Captur retain Renault's characteristic light seal in the form of two letters C, which is the first time in a production model. Just like the front, the rear also has a recognizable three-dimensional grid. The lights, which with their seductive shape also reach the tailgate, give the impression of a very wide car.

The interior revolution first brought about by the new Clio continues in the new Captur, which goes up a notch. It takes over the design Smart Cockpit, which is slightly rotated towards the driver, and a new "floating" center console. It features the latest technologies, boasts the largest screen in its class and delivers decidedly modern ergonomics for a more immersive driving experience. In the new Captur, it's hard to miss the premium materials, the soft dashboard covers, the door trims and center console trim, the carefully processed contacts and the new seat design: the effects are felt on just about every level!
Advanced range of engines
The new Captur has also advanced with extended and to a great extent renewed range of engines, both gasoline and diesel. These, combined with a five- and six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, cover a wide and upwardly increased range of power ranging from 100 to 155 hp for gasoline engines and from 95 to 115 hp for diesel engines. All of them belong to the latest generation, which has cutting-edge technologies to ensure optimized fuel consumption and emission levels and thus a lower impact on the environment. Starting this year, the range of engines in the new Captur will be enriched with a plug-in hybrid powertrain called E-TECH Plug-in.
Smart cockpit and "floating" feature
A key element of the dashboard "Smart Cockpit" is a 9.3-inch screen multimedia device that is twice the size of the 7-inch version and is the largest screen in its class. The upright tablet brings a distinct modernity to the passenger compartment, and its slight bend improves the readability of the screen. The center console is also a key component of the "Smart Cockpit" design in the new Captur. It has been raised for better ergonomics of the driver's position and for the gear lever to be closer to his hand, and its most elaborate version has a completely new "floating" design that brings a feeling of lightness into the passenger compartment. Above all, it frees up space for storage places and for a shelf for induction charging of a smartphone. The "floating" console offers smooth and precise movements that contribute to the driving experience.

The new Captur it has seats that are usually found in higher segment cars. Due to the longer seat and more enveloping shape, they provide better support. Thanks to the semi-soft shell, they provide significantly more knee room for rear passengers, and the thinner padded headrests improve rearward visibility. Thanks to the more convenient controls, the seats provide better ergonomics and easier use. The passenger compartment of the new Captur is enriched with new decorative elements and equipment that increase its comfort, ergonomics and quality. We can also be carefree when we go on a trip with luggage. The new Captur now has 27 liters more volume in the trunk, namely 536 liters, which is the most in its class. The volume of the trunk can be increased by longitudinally moving the rear bench by 16 centimeters and with a removable bottom, which allows for a two-level arrangement of the trunk for easier everyday loading.

Just like the new Clio, the new Captur democratizes driving aids with the most comprehensive and advanced range in its segment, which contributes to relaxed driving.
