Kir Royal, an enticing, light cocktail of sparkling wine and fruit liqueur, is named after the Emily series in Paris. This French sparkling drink has a bright red color due to currant liqueur. It's very easy to make and we can already see this cocktail being a popular drink at celebrations in 2023.
Kir Royal cocktail
Ingredients
- 750 ml of dry sparkling wine or champagne
- 4 tablespoons Crème de Cassis (sweet currant liqueur), you can replace it with raspberry liqueur
- fresh raspberries for decoration
Directions
- Pour 2-3 teaspoons of Crème de Cassis into a tall champagne glass
- If desired, add 3 to 4 raspberries for garnish
- Fill each glass with sparkling wine. Serve immediately.
