Did you know that croquettes were invented in France in the 18th century as a way to reuse leftover food? Ever heard of chicken croquettes?

Chicken croquettes taste great. But originally, croquettes were made from minced meat or fish, which were mixed with potatoes, formed into cylinders and fried.

Name croquet is said to come from the French word "croquer", which means "to crunch".

As with many culinary dishes the recipe changed over time and developed into different forms and flavors. Today, they are prepared with a variety of ingredients such as cheese, vegetables, meat, fish and other ingredients and are popular around the world as a snack or part of a meal.

We suggest that you also try the ones made with chicken meat and potatoes, pepperoni gives them spiciness. If you're not a fan of spiciness, just don't add it.
