For those who are really adventurous, there is also a "wrap" - i.e. foil - in the chosen color of the body, which will protect the vehicle from surface scratches. At the service center, damaged "stickers" will only be replaced with new ones. The Defender will be available with two diesel engines, a turbo four-cylinder and a six-cylinder with a "mild" hybrid system. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. At Land Rover they expect it to be a plug-in hybrid Defender available already in 2020.
