On Friday, May 26, 2017, the opening of the Non-Wasteful Food Week will take place at Pogačarjev Square in Ljubljana. The week of non-discarded food takes place on the initiative of Luka Jezeršek, and the movement was also supported by the most important Slovenian chefs: Ana Roš (Hiša Franko), Janez Bratovž (JB), Igor Jagodic (Strelec, David Vračko (Mak) and Luka Košir (Grič). on this occasion, Massimo Bottura, one of the best chefs in the world, will also visit Slovenia.
Week of non-waste food will be held from May 26 to June 2, 2017. A movement that arose on the initiative Luke Jezerška, wants to draw the general public's attention to the problem of wasted food, which is many times more perfectly suitable for use.
He also supported the week of non-waste food the owner of a restaurant with three Michelin stars and last year's winner of the title of the best chef in the world Massimo Bottura.
Massimo Bottura is with his non-profit organization Food for Soul started a real revolution in the field of reducing food waste. Bottura will be on the occasion visited Slovenia and talked about his vision and tried the dishes of Slovenian chefs. The opening will begin May 26, 2017 at Pogačarjeve trg in Ljubljana. The whole week of non-waste food will take place on Pogačarjev trg cooking workshops based on the principle of non-discarded food (you need to register for them).
