Top Camera - 18K Forza Platform

The 4K resolution provides us with an incredibly clean picture.

The 4K resolution provides us with an incredibly clean picture. He records a video where you can count almost every pore on a person's face. However, this is not the upper limit of resolution that experts will achieve. The exponential development of technology surprises us again and again.

This is where Forza comes in Forza 100+ MP CAM Platform technology, which promises a resolution of as much as 18K. It is built around flexible CMOS sensors, which work with at 60 fps and proprietary technology of direct image processing on the panel. The camera can switch between black and white and color images and process video with a minimal motion blur effect.

How much is 18K? Video professionals generally don't talk in units of megapixels, which measure the number of pixels in an image. To give you an idea, HD resolution is about two million pixels - 1920 pixels horizontally and 1080 pixels vertically, multiplying them together gives 2,073,600 pixels in an image. 4K resolution is just under nine megapixels, and the rumored Red Dragon 6K resolution is around 19 megapixels. This brings us to the fact that 18K resolution would require 18 thousand horizontal pixels for a 16:9 video, approaching a total resolution of 200 million pixels in total. This is exactly what Forza promises with its new camera platform.

The camera will debut next month at the trade show SPIE DDS 2014 in Baltimore, which focuses on showcasing security and defense technologies. Forza suggests using the camera for security purposes. In addition to security cameras, the technology could also be used in aerospace, automotive and medical industries. What about using it for media recording of sports events or for amateur photographers and videographers? We don't know if it will be available for the consumer market, but we doubt that anyone will want to process the huge amount of data that such a camera produces. At least not in the near future.
