A window that turns into a casual balcony

A window that becomes a balcony

Who wouldn't want to have a balcony? A few meters where you could breathe fresh air and drink your first coffee in the morning? The situation often does not allow this. Thanks to the company Dutch Architecture and design studio Hofman Dujardin, this is now possible in every apartment, as the Dutch company offers a window that turns into a casual balcony at the push of a button.

Dutch company Dutch Architecture and a design studio Hoffman Dujardin have produced a window that turns into a casual balcony. The multiple award-winning design was only a concept for a long time, but now it has finally entered the production phase and the first customers are already eagerly waiting for it.

The "engine" is behind the window-balcony engineer Kawneer France, who dedicated durable materials to it. It is a construction made of steel and aluminum, and he also furnished it with an electronic mechanism (if the power goes out, it can be closed or opened manually). At the push of a button, the window splits in half and lowers, and the lower part of the window serves as the floor.

The philosophy of the window is simple. Who wouldn't wish that their window could turn into a balcony, at least on nice, sunny and warm days? The window that opens to the balcony, you custom made, the only limitation is the width, which cannot exceed three meters.
