Recipe: Avocado ice cream

Sweet, refreshing and healthy: avocado ice cream. We present to you the recipe for this delicious summer dessert.

Avocado is considered one of the healthiest fruits, as it contains in large quantities as many as 25 essential nutrients, including vitamins A, B, C, E and K, as well as copper, iron, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium. In addition, avocados are rich in dietary fiber, protein and other phytochemicals such as beta-sitosterols, glutathione and lutein, which can protect us from various diseases. Avocados are also rich in healthy monounsaturated fats.

Avocado ice cream is prepared with yogurt, coconut milk and maple syrup - a healthy snack for hot days.

You need the following ingredients for preparation:

  • 1 avocado
  • 100 grams of yogurt (3.8% of fat)
  • 10 basil leaves (large)
  • 1 organic lime
  • 160 grams of coconut milk (thick)
  • 50 grams of maple syrup
  • ice cream molds

Preparation process:

Cut the avocado in half and use a spoon to separate the contents. Finely grate the lime peel and squeeze the juice. Mix avocado with basil and lime juice. Mix finely grated lime peel with yogurt, coconut milk and maple syrup. Take 3 spoons, mix the rest with avocado cream. Spoon the avocado mixture into the popsicle molds until they are 3/4 full. Spread the yogurt mixture over the top. Freeze everything for at least 4 hours.
