This sweet cream is so easy to make and can be used in many ways: as a frosting, chocolate cream, chocolate sauce, filling for pralines or chocolate truffles, or you can flavor it with coffee, cinnamon or mint and use it as a filling for baked cake crusts , to get an instant chocolate cake.
Chocolate ganache
Ingredients
- 250 g of hard chocolate of your choice
- 250 ml of full-fat cream
Directions
- Finely chop the chocolate with a sharp knife; the smaller the pieces, the faster and more evenly the chocolate will melt.
- Put the chopped chocolate in a bowl and melt it over steam at a low temperature.
- Boil the cream in a pot. Pour the hot cream into the melted chocolate and stir constantly until the mixture is smooth. Put it in the fridge for about an hour.
- Next, whip the ganache with an electric mixer until it doubles in volume - about 10 minutes.
- When it cools down, keep it in the fridge until you need it.
