Graphic designer Christine Røde asked herself what ingredients are used in the traditional dishes of individual countries and packaged her answers in the form of photographs under the name ''What Food Looks Like''. She collected in a pile all those ingredients that most often end up on a country's plate in one way or another and photographed them neatly arranged in "Adam's costume", i.e. not yet processed.
What are those ingridients, which are indispensable in the kitchen in individual countries? What are they made of? the most typical dishes? She dealt with such questions Christine Rode, which is with a project for an art school California College of the Arts ”What Food Looks Like” wanted to draw attention to the fact that nowadays a large part of the population does not see food at all in its original state. Times have moved so far that we increasingly use pre-prepared dishes, go to (fast) restaurants, in short, more and more people are losing touch with the "roots", with the ingredients without which our steak would not be so juicy, the sauce for but not so pasta and soup rich taste.
