Japanese banana diet: only banana and water for breakfast

Many of us like to eat bananas in the morning and at any other time of the day. However, Japanese scientists have conducted a series of studies and found that eating bananas for breakfast is not only healthy, but also helps you get rid of excess weight.

Japanese doctor Hitoshi Watanabe shared his own weight loss experience with the public.

The story begins with the fact that Watanabe himself tried to lose weight for a long time, but without success. Over time, he came to the fact that he began to rely not on various diets, but on scientific knowledge. Together with his wife Sulika, who worked as a pharmacist, he developed a weight loss method.

They came to the simple conclusion that it helps a fresh banana and a glass of water for breakfast.

According to Hitoshi Watanabe, combining bananas with room temperature water leads to an increase in metabolism, so a person following this diet can eats whatever he wants for lunch and dinner but she will still lose extra pounds.

Bananas contain a lot of starch, which makes people feel full. As a result, the fat burning process is more intense. Warm water improves digestion and reduces the feeling of hunger. Breakfast consisted only of bananas and water.

In the banana diet, the banana is the main and often the only product you can eat for breakfast. You can eat one large banana or several smaller ones, but do not overeat or fill your stomach. Bananas must be fresh.

But if that doesn't help and fruit can't satisfy your hunger, wait 15-30 minutes after breakfast and eat oatmeal or rice. But remember that the energy value of this second breakfast should not exceed 200 calories.

For all other meals, you can enjoy your normal daily menu, but it is recommended follow a few simple rules, that will help you lose weight.

You should not overeat.

Try to have dinner no later than 8 p.m., the optimal time is around 6 p.m. If you feel hungry after an early dinner, you can have a fruit snack after some time (but no later than two hours before going to bed).

Exclude desserts from your menu for lunch and dinner. If you want something sweet, you can treat yourself to a treat as a separate snack around one o'clock in the afternoon.

Drink lots of water and other liquids. The water should be warm and it is better to drink it in small sips. After eating, it is recommended to drink only water. In the intervals between meals, you can drink tea, coffee, juice. Alcohol is also occasionally allowed.

Do not buy too many soft or black bananas, as they contain few useful substances and a lot of trace elements that are poorly absorbed by the body. If you have no choice, take green bananas.
