Pagani Imola: a car that is "purely crazy" even by Pagani standards

Pagani Imola

Pagani's latest derivative of the Zonda hypercar is called the Imola. The name naturally comes from one of the most famous Italian racetracks, where the latest Pagani drove more than 16,000 kilometers during testing.

Pagani Imola largely refers to the Huayra model, with which it shares most aerodynamic accessories and engineering solutions. Even in the case of Imola, the drive was provided by Mercedes. Theirs 6.0 liter V 12 cylinder just get it 827 horsepower and huge 1,100 Nm of torque. Add to that the all-new active suspension, electronically controlled differential locks and full power transfer to the rear wheel pair, and we'll need special Pirelli Trofeo R tires and downright crazy aerodynamic accessories to make sure the car stays "glued” to the asphalt. At Imola, they even went so far as to apply paint for nothing 4.9 kilograms easier than painting any other car that comes from the Pagani factory.

As is usual with limited series cars, there are all of them 5 Pagani Imol already sold out. And this despite the high price, which is no less than 5 million euros. The Pagani Imola will also be presented at this year's Geneva Motor Show.
